Trius Winery at Hillebrand is the ideal destination for group functions. A $3 million winery renovation, finished in 2007, provides guests with an even more exciting menu of wine and culinary experiences.
Our Winemaker, Chef Frank Dodd and our on-site Forager work passionately to create authentic dining experiences. Our wines and menus are inspired by the seasonal evolution of the vines that surround us and the local produce that grows beside them. Guests will explore the affinity between food and wine through an unrushed culinary journey.
Overlooking Trius Winery Restaurant, this private space allows guests to enjoy an intimate dining experience while still taking in the Restaurant’s ambiance. Up to 24 guests may dine from any of Chef Frank Dodd’s seasonally inspired Group Menus.
The Winemaker’s Lookout
This seasonal and exclusive extension of the Restaurant Patio holds up to 28 guests and includes beautiful views and a stone fireplace. Begin your dining experience with a reception from the 2nd Tier taking in a view of the entire winery. Guests will then be escorted below to enjoy any of Chef Frank Dodd’s Group Menu offerings.
The Vineyard Pavilion
Up to 125 guests may dine in this private room boasting floor to ceiling windows looking out to the extraordinary views of the vineyards and Niagara Escarpment. In season, the windows fully open allowing guests to enjoy the winery breeze. Enjoy Frank’s seasonally inspired Tasting Menu, Set Group Menus or Frank’s Backyard BBQ experience.
Trius Red Barrel Cellar
This venue allows guests to dine in an authentic barrel cellar amongst 20 years of Trius Red, Niagara’s benchmark wine. Candle lighting creates an intimate setting for up to 32 guests at one harvest table.
