Trius Red 2010

Our best selling red wine from the best vintage of the century. An award-winning blend of 43% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 27% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Rich, full-bodied wine with silky tannins and ripe fruit-forward flavours of black currant, black cherry and blackberry, accented by sweet spice, oak, dark chocolate and anise. Wonderful notes of black cherry and toasty oak linger on the finish. Serve at a cool room temperature of 18°C. Enjoy now through 2018.

Fabulous paired with grilled foods such as pepper steaks, beef tenderloin, lamb chops, porterhouse steak, red peppers, eggplant and mushrooms; winter stews; meat pies; 2 year old Canadian cheddar; 70% dark chocolate.
