Trius Black Glass Dinner – New Year’s Eve Edition

Amplify your senses at this interactive New Year’s Eve pre-party dining experience.

Start your evening off with your dining companions (and soon-to-be adversaries) in our Sparkling Cellar with a guided tasting led by one of our resident wine experts. Let us take you through the paces of our wine portfolio that will prepare you for the competition with some tasting tips and tricks. Next, settle into the Trius Red Cellar for a 4-course seasonally-inspired menu from Chef Frank Dodd, complete with secret wine pairings disguised in opaque black stemware. With the assistance of the Trius team, use your newly acquired skills to guess the wine paired with each course. Red or white? Chardonnay or Riesling? Merlot or Cabernet Franc? Put your nose and palate to the test!

This dining experience will end at approximately 10 pm, allowing you time to arrive at your final destination to ring in 2017!

Radio Noir Series: Dinner & Show Package

Treat yourself to the ultimate dinner + show package!

Enjoy dinner in our iconic Trius Red Cellar before the show, where you'll start the evening with a glass of Trius Brut and then a 3-course tasting menu by Chef Frank Dodd with wine pairings. After dinner you’ll be ushered into the Radio Noir production with reserved seats at the front of the house.

$145, plus taxes and gratuities (includes event ticket and glass of wine with snacks at the show).

Dinner begins promptly at 6 pm, Show will start at 8 pm.

Much like wine, classic radio shows have a smooth and timeless allure. Join us at Trius Winery as we blend the classics in our new Trius Radio Noir Series.

You’ll begin your evening by sipping on a glass of our favourite “Noir” wines and snacks from Chef Frank Dodd as you settle into your seat and become a member of a live audience. The production ensemble (Shaw Festival alumni and friends) takes you back to the golden age of radio, performing stories of mystery, romance, and suspense, complete with live sound effects and music.

Some of the scariest and most memorable productions in history were created in classic radio thanks to sound effects and the power of suggestion. Now you too can experience “theatre of the mind” and enjoy its magic.

During the performance there will be a small intermission with wine and snacks available for purchase from our premium concession stand.

Two half-hour classic detective dramas featuring Slate Shannon and Sailor Duval, made famous by Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
