Start off the evening with your dining companions (and soon-to-be adversaries) in our winery boutique with a guided tasting led by one of our resident wine experts. Let us take you through the paces of our wine portfolio that will prepare you for the competition with some tasting tips and tricks. Next, settle in for a 4-course seasonally-inspired menu from Chef Frank Dodd, complete with secret wine pairings disguised in opaque black stemware. With the assistance of the Trius team, use your newly acquired skills to guess the wine paired with each course. Red or white? Chardonnay or Riesling? Merlot or Cabernet Franc? Put your nose and palate to the test!

Love to cook? We're excited to give you the opportunity to learn tips and tricks from our Gold Medal Plates winning chef! Chef Frank Dodd invites you to share (some of) his best kept kitchen secrets with you.
For the wine lover with a sweet tooth, Chef Dodd will be showing you how he makes both regular and gluten-free double chocolate marshmallow cupcakes. First, you’ll mingle with your classmates while enjoying a glass of our famous bubbly, Trius Brut. Then you’ll settle in for a one-hour cooking class with our Chef. Following the class, sit back and relax as the team serves up a three-course lunch, complemented by some of our best wines. At the end of the experience, guests will get to take with them a pack of the dry goods to bake their own at home!

Join us at Trius Winery during i4c weekend for the House of Chards tasting & dining event. We will be welcoming international ‘delegates’ from Hahn Family Wines (Napa, California) and Foxes Island Wines (Marlborough, New Zealand). Starting the celebration off with a Trius Brut sparkling reception, mingle with our international guests, along with Trius Winemaker, Jordan Kalinowski.
Each winery will then present a selected Chardonnay and guide you through a rotating tasting in three of our signature spaces. Finally, meet our very own Frank! Commander-in-Chef Frank Dodd will present a four-course lunch to pair with cool climate wines from our guests, as well as our own award-winning portfolio.
