Kick-Off to Harvest Dinner

Many of our grape growers indulge in the dog-days of summer by joining us for this annual dining tradition in the same vineyards they care for every day. Join our growers and winemakers for this celebratory dinner, where Chef Frank Dodd presents three courses of casually served Wine Country cuisine in a stunning vineyard setting. Each course will be perfectly paired with wines from the acclaimed Trius portfolio, selected by Winemaker Craig McDonald. The cost is $110 per person, exclusive of taxes and gratuities.

Winemaker Craig McDonald and Chef Frank Dodd are teaming up to bring you down under for a culinary adventure from Australia. We’ll start the evening with a cocktail reception before settling into our private dining room for a 4-course dinner expertly paired with our award-winning wines. We may have a few surprises for you, too! $140 per person, exclusive of taxes and gratuities.

Start off the evening with your dining companions (and soon-to-be adversaries) in our winery boutique with a guided tasting led by one of our resident wine experts. Let us take you through the paces of our wine portfolio that will prepare you for the competition with some tasting tips and tricks. Next, settle in for a 4-course seasonally-inspired menu from Chef Frank Dodd, complete with secret wine pairings disguised in opaque black stemware. With the assistance of the Trius team, use your newly acquired skills to guess the wine paired with each course. Red or white? Chardonnay or Riesling? Merlot or Cabernet Franc? Put your nose and palate to the test!

To the victor go the spoils. Guess the most wines correctly and we will reward your excellent senses with a bottle of award-winning Trius Brut to take home.
